Waking up at 6:45am has not been easy these past couple of days, but as soon as I get to the De La Salle Blackfeet School, I forget about the fact that I woke up that early. We usually get to the school at around 7:15, and that is usually when the students start coming in.

We start off the day by playing basketball, and it is usually the students against us. I have never been this sporty in my life, but lately I have been playing basketball, soccer, dodgeball, and kickball every day. Basketball challenges are just an every day thing with the students both before class and during recess.

Today we had Ash Wednesday mass and it was adorable seeing the fourth graders lead it. I was surprised to see how much the students participated during the mass. They were singing and praying and with them being fifth graders I thought they would be fidgety. So far I have been really thankful that the students have been really welcoming and they have allowed us to work with them.
