Saint Mary’s graduate Rachel Waletzko will visit campus Sunday, October 9 through Tuesday, October 11 to talk with students about the Lasallian Volunteer program. She will be available to meet with students or speak to classes or groups on Monday and Tuesday. Rachel is currently serving in Memphis, Tenn. at De La Salle Elementary at Blessed Sacrament.
The Lasallian Volunteers is a program of the De La Salle Christian Brothers that provides volunteers for one or more years of service to schools and agencies of the Brothers whose mission is to serve the poor. Volunteers live in community and receive training and formation to serve in their ministry. Lasallian Volunteers change the world for the better and discover themselves transformed in the process.
