Yesterday we went to the Basketball Hall of Fame, and I got the chance to play basketball with five of the residents from Ocean Tides. We also got to learn some history with the boys about old basketball players, about how basketball got started, and who started it. We got the chance to test our vertical jump which shows you how high you can jump compared to some of the famous players. I also got to have hoop shoot races against the boys to see who could score a lot of points on the mini basketball hoops. It was interesting to learn about basketball, but also it was a fun trip to spend focused time with the boys and to connect with them.
